Position Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each step
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
