Job Title SY 26-27 Instructional Aide - Starting at $25/hr. (Temporary) Location Channahon, IL 60410. Schools are located in Channahon & Joliet. Summary Our clients are seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students in a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities Provide classroom support under the direction of the lead teacher Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and instructional activities Support students with behavioral management and social development Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision (e.g., lunch, recess) Document student progress and communicate effectively with staff Qualifications Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with school staff Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent (associate's or higher preferred) Benefits Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral‑health.
