Plastics Press Tooling Set up Technician

Job Description
- Responsible for hanging and setting up tools in preparation for production run, as well as starting up production jobs and troubleshooting
- Set-up and start production jobs as well as adjust and troubleshoot these jobs when issues arise during a production run according to work instructions
- Perform mold tooling inventory control
- Press tear down, follow mold pull procedure
- General shop maintenance, cleaning and organization
- Update ERP system for down-time codes or setup of tools
- Ensure press is running properly; communicate any problems to supervisor
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or 12 years formal education preferred, but not required
- Must have good basic math skills
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of injection molding experience is preferred
- Good Mechanical experience
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds, climb up and down stairs, and stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to operate a forklift
