Reports To: Chief Executive Officer/Owner
Marvelous Counseling & Therapy, PLLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Operations Director to oversee operational excellence, program performance, compliance, and growth initiatives across multiple service locations and programs. The Regional Operations Director will ensure efficient day-to-day operations while supporting the organization's mission of delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children, adults, and families throughout Texas.
This leadership role serves as a key bridge between executive leadership, clinical teams, and administrative staff, ensuring organizational goals, financial performance, quality standards, and client outcomes are achieved.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operational Leadership- Direct and oversee daily operations across assigned regions, programs, and service locations.
- Ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Establish operational benchmarks and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Program Managers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Monitor service utilization, staffing levels, productivity, and client access to care.
- Ensure programs operate in compliance with organizational standards and contractual requirements.
- Assist with launching new programs, locations, and service lines.
- Monitor regional budgets, expenses, revenue performance, and productivity metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Collaborate with finance and billing departments to address revenue cycle issues.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Medicaid, HIPAA, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
- Support audits, site visits, accreditation reviews, and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor quality indicators and operational performance metrics.
- Implement corrective action plans when necessary.
- Supervise Program Managers, Operations Managers, Administrative Supervisors, and support personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and professional development.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Support organizational growth initiatives and expansion efforts.
- Develop relationships with referral sources, healthcare organizations, schools, community agencies, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, conferences, and networking events.
- Identify partnership opportunities that support organizational objectives.
- Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure incident reporting and risk management procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to address service delivery concerns.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Social Services, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive operations management experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience overseeing multiple programs, departments, or locations.
- Experience working within healthcare, behavioral health, community mental health, or human services settings.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid-funded services and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, staff performance, and operational outcomes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field.
- Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or social service organizations.
- Knowledge of Texas Medicaid, HHSC regulations, and community-based behavioral health programs.
- Experience managing multi-site operations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
