Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1836.00/week - Job Summary: Assess, plan, and provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during surgical interventions. Responsibilities: Administer preoperative and postoperative care while preparing patients for surgery and ensuring smooth recovery. Assist surgeons and operating room staff by maintaining sterile environments and handling surgical instruments. Monitor and document patient vitals, anesthesia levels, and operative procedures throughout surgeries. Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies, ensuring patient safety and proper intervention. Educate patients and their families about perioperative procedures and post-surgical care instructions. Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience. Demonstrate proficiency in handling orthopedic, general, urology, gynecology, ENT, and vascular procedures. Possess current BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Exhibit strong teamwork, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Ability to manage high patient acuity and adapt in fast-paced surgical environments.
