Model Based System Engineer

Job Overview Akkodis is recruiting for a MBSE for an aerospace manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $85 an hour to $105 an hour depending on experience, education, and location. Per diem possible if criteria is met. Qualifications Networking Device Experience Strong Cameo experience – specifically tracing in requirement database, modeling internal interfaces, creating diagrams based on a defined metamodel. Ability to read technical specifications and review against certification requirement documentation. Familiarity with avionics principles (types of memory, common signals, profiles). Basic python programming experience is desired Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. Able to self-prioritize work assignments in a manner that maximizes team effectiveness and project efficiency Ability to execute against complex and dynamic objectives with minimal oversight Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering from an accredited College or University.
