Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Watch in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.26 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact. Support daily operations by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and following post orders for after-hours access, deliveries, and/or visitor activity. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
