Mobile Operations Manager
Our client is transforming the automotive locksmith industry through innovative mobile technology, robotics, and exceptional customer experiences. They are seeking a Mobile Operations Manager to lead a team of Mobile Operations Technicians while remaining hands-on in the field as the team's go-to expert for automotive key cutting and programming.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with experience cutting, duplicating, and programming automotive keys, fobs, and remotes who enjoys developing teams, driving sales, and delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-4 Mobile Operations Technicians
- Train team members on automotive key programming, customer service, and sales best practices
- Drive sales performance and customer satisfaction across assigned locations
- Cut, duplicate, clone, and program automotive keys, fobs, and remotes
- Troubleshoot complex programming issues and support technicians in the field
- Build strong relationships with customers and retail partners
- Monitor team productivity, sales metrics, and service quality
- Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and daily field operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Required Qualifications
- Experience cutting, duplicating, and programming automotive keys, fobs, and remotes
- Previous leadership experience as a Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Ability to coach, train, and develop employees
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, POS systems, and inventory software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive locksmith experience
- Mobile service or field operations experience
- Experience with transponder programming, key cloning, smart keys, or immobilizer systems
- Familiarity with Autel, Xhorse VVDI, AutoProPad, Smart Pro, OBDSTAR, or similar programming tools
