Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required.Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center's office based EMR is requiredPrescribes medication or therapy when necessaryRecommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of lifeExplains all medical procedures thoroughlyExplains test results and provide patients with plan of care detailsConsults with other doctors as appropriate about patient's specific needsParticipates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinicsServes on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requestedSeeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goalsParticipates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.Understanding of physician practice environmentExcellent communication skills at all levelsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsThis job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated.
