Job Details Location: Middletown, CT 06457 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Warehouse XSE Group – Warehouse Associate Department: Logistics / Warehouse Reports To: Distribution Center Site Lead or Shift Lead Position Summary The Warehouse Associate supports daily distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely movement of products through the facility to support customer deliveries and internal operations. Core Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments; verify accuracy against purchase orders and inspect for damage Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently Maintain organized inventory locations and proper product labeling Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy reporting Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, scanners) in accordance with safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards Support returns processing and restocking activities Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals Performance Expectations Order accuracy and error rates Units picked/packed per hour (productivity) On-time shipping performance Safety compliance and incident avoidance Inventory accuracy and shrink control Qualifications Required: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods Basic computer or RF scanner proficiency Strong attention to detail and reliability Basic English communication skills required Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent Prior warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) Working Conditions Warehouse environment (temperature may vary seasonally) Physical work including lifting, bending, and walking Exposure to equipment, noise, and loading dock operations Compensation & Benefits $19-22 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Higher pay for warehouse experience and forklift certification.
