Job Description

The role is responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of customer accounts. This includes but not limited to handling customer engagements as defined by the Account Director in order to maximize sales capacity and customer satisfaction.

Within the role, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including internal departments, vendors & suppliers, as well as directly with customers.

• Placing orders via our sales tools
• Prepare Quotes & Bids
• Managing Outlook mailboxes, both co-worker and customer specific
• Dealing with initial customer queries or issues
• Product returns
• Product information, including manufacturer data sheets and specification checking
• Reporting, including Back Order and ad-hoc customer requirements
• Follow-Up and Work with key vendors and partners as required to develop opportunities and relationships in existing clients
• Prospect for growth opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain the bid calendar, organize plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Monitor agency communications, and update the bid list accordingly.
• Support weekly pre-bid meetings and bid meetings.
• Monitor government agencies and contractor websites for potential new bid opportunities.
• Monitors existing RFP's (Request for Pricing) for new issued addendums, changes in due dates, clarifications, and project updates.
• Review and prepare bid documents to ensure an accurate final submission.
• Coordinate client/vendor NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
• Quotations on both standard and non-standard products.
