Engineering collaborative, reliable solutions is the name of our game. AirReps is seeking a Service Sales Manager for our organization at our Spokane, Washington location. The Service Sales Manager provides leadership, direction, and oversight to Field Service Technicians to achieve department and company goals and objectives as directed by the Director and Vice President. This role combines technical service expertise with a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment while identifying opportunities to recommend and sell new systems or upgrades to customers. Benefits Benefits are effective on day one for all full‑time direct hires Training programs are available to help guide team members and develop new skills Growth opportunities – there are immense opportunities to grow your career Part of a global company backed by Daikin Industries, Ltd., an organization that brings opportunity to over 60,000 employees worldwide Responsibilities Reviews and evaluates daily functions of the Technical Services department to achieve productivity and effective strategies as outlined by senior management Evaluates Department Processes and Procedures and recommends suggested changes to senior management Provides oversight and evaluation of resumes for new or replacement Technical Service positions as needed Evaluates customer needs and recommends system upgrades or new equipment based on technical assessments and customer preferences Prepares financing options, warranties, and maintenance plans for customers Manages sales channels, establishes and maintains key customer relationships, and meets sales targets Travels to current and prospective client locations within territory, including cold calls Builds strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments Represents the department in weekly company meetings as needed Provides direction and leadership of transition schedules, ECNs, ERs, etc., to determine impact and implications for all existing and future production and technical literature Performs additional projects or duties to support ongoing business needs Ensures work is aligned with the Director’s expectations, goals, and vision Is accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short‑term results Guides decisions and problem‑solving with policies, procedures, and the business plan, receiving guidance from Senior Director or Vice President Works on projects ranging from difficult to moderately complex issues Provides guidance and training to subordinates Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance, and recommend termination Respects company policy regarding signing authority Qualifications Experience Minimum 10 years HVAC experience in manufacturing or service 5–10 years in a leadership position Education / Certification Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) HVAC degree or certification Skills Highly effective communication and collaboration with team members and customers, with the ability to instruct, inform, persuade, or motivate co‑workers Proficient with digital skills (Microsoft Office 365) for word processing, data management, and presentations Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, including inductive and deductive reasoning Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to drive quality improvements or resolve field issues Proficiency in gathering and reporting data such as product shipments, part sales, and warranty data to support campaigns and quality initiatives Advanced technical writing and communication skills Effective presentation and customer speaking skills in front of large audiences Superior knowledge of HVAC products and controls Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job Reports To Director, Technical Service Salary $110,240.00 to $138,065.00, plus eligibility to participate in the Service Manager Commission Plan Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
