Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location Site: Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301 Department: Inpatient Rehabilitation Position Type: Unscheduled, Non-Exempt Schedule: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Sunday, variable shifts Your role with us Salem Health is looking for a dedicated physical therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll provide intensive therapy to patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputation, and other rehabilitation diagnoses. You’ll collaborate closely with a supportive care team, document patient progress, manage your caseload, and contribute to safe and effective discharge planning. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. What you’ll do Evaluate patients and create personalized treatment plans. Work with patients and families to set recovery goals. Deliver safe, evidence-based therapy tailored to individual needs. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists. Manage your caseload and delegate tasks as needed. Follow all safety, licensing, and hospital policies. Stay current with training and contribute to quality improvement efforts. Required qualifications BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
