Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Virtual School Social Worker to support students in a Michigan school district for the 2026–2027 school year . This remote opportunity is ideal for a qualified social worker who enjoys the flexibility of virtual services while providing meaningful counseling, behavioral support, and social-emotional resources to students.
Position Details

✅ K–12 caseload based on district needs

Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual individual and group counseling services to students
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and student support planning
- Assist with crisis intervention, behavior support, and resource coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Help students develop coping strategies, self-advocacy skills, and positive social-emotional skills
Qualifications
- Active Michigan School Social Worker credential/certification
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of special education processes, IEPs, and student support services
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable providing services through a virtual platform
