Full Time Los Angeles, CA, US 17 days ago Requisition ID: 1157 Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually Job Summary Portfolio Officer manages the loan portfolio to review loan portfolio quality and recommend loan risk grading, renew maturing loans, monitor problem loan status, and identify business opportunities from the portfolio. Performs cash flow analysis, financial spread and credit memo. Essential Job Functions Contact borrowers for loans are maturing and collecting requirement documents. Perform term loan reviews and credit memo and report issues to the account officers and recommend loan risk grading. Monitor and report the TLR status and work with customers to resolve issues. Identify and discuss new business opportunities from the portfolio to propose new loans. Schedule the renewals and re pricing timely to maintain the loan portfolio. Assist account officers to perform cash flow analysis and financial spreads for new loan requests Work closely with account officer and underwriter to ensure all documents needed for closing the loan have been received and reviewed for compliance with credit approval memo and program requirements. Collect and order documents from various parties according to checklist and credit approval memo including entity documents, title documents, escrow related documents, compliance documents, credit report, insurance evidence, flood certification, UCC statement, estoppel certificates, SNDA, etc. Assist to engage appraisal, appraisal review, and environmental from approved vendors. Review all documents and forms to ensure accuracy and completeness. Timely upload all documents to database and update LoanVantage / Loan Status Log. Perform initial review of loan documents. Ensure final loan documents and forms are properly executed, recorded, and delivered as appropriate. Respond to customers inquiries, bank reference, and CPA verification requests. There may be other responsibilities assigned. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with a focus in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred. Detail oriented with an aptitude for business and customer interaction. Must be efficient with cooperative work habits, while managing time to account for sudden fast‑paced work environment. Proficient with business office and computer programs such as Word and Excel. Minimum three years’ experience with commercial real estate as loan assistant, loan closer, or portfolio banker. Knowledge Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
