The employee will participate in the promotion of specialty therapies and services targeting prescribers, discharge planners, nurses, and other referral sources in the assigned area. Employee will work with physicians, health systems, pharma partners and other referral sources to support and understand their overall business objectives and critical success factors that drive patient discharges and prescriptions for infusion therapy services. The employee will function in an integral role to support the ongoing education of patients, hospital staff, physicians, nursing agencies and community members regarding the programs and services of InfuCare Rx. The employee will identify new opportunities and participate in the development of new programs in order to promote InfuCare Rx services. The employee will be expected to work closely and collaborate with various other business units, clinicians, and staff members within the organization./ppBenefits:/pulliMedical/Dental/Vision/liliSTD/LTD/liliGroup Term Life/liliVoluntary Life and ADD/lili401K with Company Match/liliPaid Sick Leave/liliPaid Time Off/lili6 Paid Holidays/li/ulpEssential Job Responsibilities:/pulliDevelops sales strategies to achieve companys specific objectives and revenue goals./liliInterfaces with interdisciplinary team of clinicians and administrative support staff./liliTargets physician prescribers, discharge planners and key decision makers and educates on companys patient specific services that are of value to referral sources and patients./liliIdentifies and develops relationships with all sales targets that directly refer patients/prescriptions for specialty infusion medications./liliIdentifies specialty medications, parenteral nutrition, and anti-infective therapies as well as related disease states and conditions in the treatment of patients./liliFamiliarity with the geographical service area and territory assigned./liliParticipates in community relations activities (i.e., health fairs, exhibits, educational programs, in-services) as needed./liliStrategically/geographically plans field visits and customer educational opportunities to minimize travel expense and maximize productivity./liliEvaluates sales objectives periodically and adjusts marketing plan to achieve goals in planned timeframe./liliCollaborates with prescribers, health systems and other partners to facilitate prescription/referrals./liliIdentifies educational opportunities and provides presentations to referral sources./liliIdentifies and develops patient care related solutions in partnership with internal team and customers./liliPerforms other duties as required./li/ulpMinimum Requirements:/pulliBachelors degree or proven industry experience (5+ yrs.) will be considered in lieu of degree./liliMinimum five (5+) years of experience directly related to specialty pharmacy sales or pharmaceuticals required.
