Account Executive

EVOKE is a Houston-based experience agency that helps brands be felt, not just seen. We design and deliver branded merchandise, corporate gifting programs, experiential brand activations, full-scale events and the creative strategy behind it all.

Our work lives in the details. The product, the moment, the environment, the way something is revealed or experienced. Execution isn’t separate from strategy; it’s strategy brought to life.

We’re a small, fast-growing team where ownership matters, standards run high, and no task is beneath anyone. The tradeoff is real autonomy. You’ll be trusted to lead your work, make decisions, and contribute meaningfully from day one.

 

THE ROLE

We’re hiring an Account Executive who can think strategically, manage projects with precision, contribute creatively, and execute at a high level .

You’ll carry the vision forward after the sale and ensure what we deliver is thoughtful, elevated, and brought to life with intention.

You’ll own projects end-to-end, contribute ideas and creative direction, and step into sales support, production, and admin when the work calls for it.

You’ll be measured on:

  • Quality of output
  • Adherence to budget and revenue targets
  • Strength of client experience
  • Your ability to move work forward with a sense of urgency, attention to detail, maturity, and thoughtfulness

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own projects from post-proposal through delivery - Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and execution across every touchpoint
  • Act as the day-to-day client partner - Communicate clearly, manage expectations, and identify opportunities to grow the work
  • Contribute creatively - Support ideation across merchandise, gifting, activations, and events, including mood boards and presentations (Canva)
  • Lead vendor and production work - Source custom items, manage proofs and samples, and bring ideas to life in the real world
  • Support the team where needed - Step into special projects, research, sales support, and on-site execution when required

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3–5 years in an agency or fast-paced client service environment
  • Experience in experiential, merchandise, production, or events preferred
  • Detail-oriented with high personal standards
  • Strategic and creative. You understand the why and improve the work
  • Scrappy, proactive, and composed under pressure
  • Tech-savvy: Canva, Microsoft 365 (OneNote, Teams, Outlook, Excel), project tools, and AI platforms
  • Team-first mindset. You thrive in variety, shifting priorities, and stepping beyond your scope

THE DETAILS

  • Location: Houston-based, hybrid (75% in-office, City Centre / Beltway 8 & I-10)
  • Base Salary: Negotiable based on experience
  • Performance Bonus: 7–10% tied to company and personal goals
  • Commission: Available on self-generated or expanded client opportunities
  • PTO: 5 days (year one), plus company holidays and flex days
  • Travel: As needed, with the team or independently
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and occasional hands-on event set-up/breakdown support, including lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Growth Path: Senior AE → Account Director or specialized leadership track
