Registered Nurse - Post Partum Nights
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night 3x12-Hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 with options of 36 or 48 hours per week, requiring 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post Partum unit. This role requires expertise in postpartum care, including assessment and management of neonates and mothers following delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience, including familiarity with high-risk conditions and a solid understanding of both care protocols and relevant certifications.
Provide compassionate care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
Perform assessments, monitoring vital signs, and report deviations as needed.
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
Assist in complex deliveries and provide support in high-risk situations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in postpartum or related fields.
BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required at the time of submission.
Valid Kansas or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
