What You Will Embrace in This Role

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials

• Prescribing medications and treatments within your professional scope

Education Credentials Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
