If you’re meticulous and love hands-on work, this role is for you—no prior instrument repair experience required; we’ll train you.

Your impact

• Restore and maintain surgical instrumentation performance onsite at local hospitals—sharpening, adjusting, and repairing with precision.
• Use grinding and buffing wheels, soldering tools, and a full suite of hand/power tools from a truck-based mobile shop.
• Operate as a two-person team, delivering timely, onsite service that keeps OR schedules on track.

Role requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Fine motor skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
• Flexible availability for early/late hours with occasional overnight and out-of-state travel.
• Pass a DOT medical/physical exam and follow all DOT regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record (CDL not required) and ability to maintain required vaccines.
• Age 21+ to satisfy FMCSA requirements for commercial interstate driving.

Backgrounds that translate well

• Small engine, cell phone, or electronics repair; product testing; rebuilds.
• Carpentry; circuit board assembly/repair.
• Sterile processing; industrial sewing; jewelry repair.
• Maintenance, construction, or automotive repair.
• Assembly work or any role using small hand tools.
