GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)

Position Grill Cook – Full Time Location Michelin – Highway 76, Sandy Springs, SC 29677 Schedule Full time, Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Pay Fixed hourly rate: $15.00 per hour. Job Summary Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high‑quality food service is provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations. Serves customers efficiently and friendly following established service steps while ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items. Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service and handles records for the area worked. Follows approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Transfers pans, kettles and trays of food between workstations, stove and refrigerator according to safety standards. Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures. Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils in line with sanitation standards. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to the supervisor. Attends in‑service and safety meetings. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers. Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a grill cook or food service position preferred.
