About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Digital App Channel & Lending to take on the role of commercial owner of the mobile app ecosystem. This pivotal position is responsible for the app channel's P&L, commercial performance, and strategy, with a focus on driving outcomes through influence and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared commercial goals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital commerce, DTC, or financial services channel management, with a proven track record in app or digital channel P&L accountability. Key responsibilities include leading the app channel team, defining and owning the mobile app commercial strategy, and partnering with marketing on app trading and optimization. The role also demands a leader with an innovation mindset, capable of identifying and driving new growth levers, and challenging conventional approaches. Candidates for the VP role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in digital strategy, finance, or marketing, and at least 7-12 years' of experience in the relevant fields. A background in consumer lending, fintech, or nonprime financial services is strongly preferred, with specific experience in app engagement, DAU/MAU optimization, and push notification strategy. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the Apple App Store and Google Play commercial ecosystems, as well as the ability to manage a channel P&L and work with financial acumen. The ideal candidate will be adept at communication and storytelling, with the ability to translate complex data into a compelling vision and motivate cross-functional teams.
