This position will copyedit, proofread, fact check, and will work with staff at all levels across the company.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesReviews, edits, and proofreads materials for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation; consistency; reference accuracy, citation, and formatting; clarity of writingEnsures all client guidelines are followedMaterials that the Medical Editor will work on include but are not limited to:Meeting materials (eg, invitations, brochures, correspondence, participant packets)PowerPoint slide presentations (including figures/tables) and accompanying notesExecutive summaries and meeting reportsWeb-based materialsOther materials generated through the companyAttends off-site client copy-review meetingsPerforms other duties and assignments as directedMinimum Job RequirementsBachelor's degreeMinimum 3 years' experience in all aspects of medical/scientific editing, proofreading, referencesKnowledge of AMA styleProficient in Microsoft OfficeProven track record of producing error-free work by assigned deadlines.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredExtreme attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsExcellent communication skills, especially writtenAbility to successfully pass editing/proofreading test
