Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Rounds in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security‑related activity. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas, assist with access‑related procedures, and support an orderly environment for patient care and daily operations. Communicate with site contacts, staff, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security‑related concerns, directions, and incident information while following assigned post orders and protocols. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
