Restaurant Manager – iServ / Sonny’s BBQ (Oviedo, FL) Full‑time, salaried, on‑site position at a full‑service restaurant. Applicants should be experienced leaders who can manage a team, oversee daily operations, and deliver a consistent guest experience. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of 25–40 hourly team members, including training, scheduling, and coaching. Manage P&L for the store, controlling food and labor costs, waste, and looking for ways to improve retention and satisfaction. Ensure front‑and‑back‑of‑house operations run smoothly, consistently, and on brand with clear standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed, and overall experience. Communicate clearly with store management, team, and guests, handling feedback and maintaining a positive workplace. Partner with the General Manager and leadership on performance reviews, promotions, and internal growth opportunities. Report to Directors and upper store management on performance, prepare monthly financial objectives, analyze forecasts, trends, and variances. Hire, train, and develop hourly team members, ensuring they are appreciated and comfortable in their roles. Maintain company standards for dishes and drinks, enforce safety, licensing, and inventory procedures. Coordinate vendors for food orders and perform bi‑weekly inventory. Ensure staffing levels are met daily and follow budget guidelines. Uphold the ISERV GROUP’S MISSION and VALUES with all team members and enforce policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of full‑service restaurant management experience in a high‑volume environment. Comfortable in a fast‑moving environment with structure and accountability. Proven coaching, conflict resolution, and culture‑building skills to reduce turnover. Effective communication with management and hourly team members. Basic math and scheduling skills; familiarity with POS, email, and simple reporting systems. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; on‑site leadership role. Valid driver’s license, successful background check, and reliable transportation. Desired Qualifications Prior BBQ or meat‑focused restaurant experience. Experience training or mentoring managers‑in‑training or high‑potential supervisors. Physical Requirements Stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally. Work with cleaning chemicals, wet or humid conditions, extreme heat, steam, cold, and exposure to smoke from a wood‑burning cooker.
