Commercial HVAC TechnicianThe Commercial HVAC Technician will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial facilities, including high-rise condominiums, schools, and large campuses. You will be expected to execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, perform retrofits and changeouts, and ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency.This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires strong technical ability, excellent documentation skills, and professional interaction with customers and team members.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesService and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment including:Cooling TowersChillersWater Source Heat Pumps (WSHP)Split Systems and Mini SplitsWater Pumps and BoilersRooftop Units (RTU)Perform all service types:Preventive Maintenance (PM)Retrofits and ChangeoutsTroubleshooting and DiagnosticsNew InstallationsRead and interpret mechanical and electrical plans/drawings for accurate execution.Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and clear updates.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the company CRM for all service requests and completed work orders.Work collaboratively with ABC Mechanical leadership, subcontractors, and vendors.Ensure proper van stock inventory management and maintain an organized and clean service vehicle.Comply with all safety regulations, company SOPs, and industry best practices.Mentor and assist junior team members when required.Follow federal and state laws, as well as established company policies.**MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED**DISCLAIMERThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Continuing education in HVAC, construction, or facilities management preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance.Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required.
