Job Summary The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for safely performing production activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality in the processing of media. This role operates and supports Fiber/Web production equipment, handles hazardous materials, maintains production records, and ensures compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Management System requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Safely perform production activities while maintaining high quality standards. Operate and support Fiber/Web production equipment to meet production schedules. Cross-train and work on various production equipment as needed. Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures. Prepare, maintain, and accurately complete production records, logs, and operational documentation. Collect production data to support engineering and process improvement activities. Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with workplace safety requirements. Follow all quality policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Basic mathematical and measurement skills. Ability to accurately use calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write simple instructions and statements. Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull for extended periods. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following all PPE and safety requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment. Experience working with steel microfibers. Education: High School
