Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 2 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Cross Country Program - The University of Vermont Health Network and no current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - The University of Vermont Health Network.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must have neonate, pediatric - NICU/PICU experience, does not have dedicated NICU/PICU but plays a significate role in their care

Required Credentials: All specialties the HCP worked need to be well documented on each individual employment entry. Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained. This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit.

Unit/Facility Details: Patient population consists of all age groups - includes ICU and ED floors. Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November.

Shift & Scheduling: A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Holidays are as needed. Monday to Sunday.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
