Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, especially in school environments
• EIPA score of 3.0 or higher (required for consideration)
• Experience working with students in K-12 settings highly preferred
• Professional communication skills and collaborative spirit
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in educational interpreting

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-on-one sign language interpreting for a student within the K-12 caseload
• Accurately convey spoken and signed language between students, educators, and peers throughout the school day
• Support the academic and social participation of the assigned student
• Prepare in advance for classroom content and assignments to facilitate effective communication
• Collaborate with educators and other service providers to ensure seamless integration of interpretive services
• Maintain detailed records and communicate progress as needed
