Engagement Lead - Accounting Technology

New York | On-site | $160,000–$230,000 + Equity We're partnering with one of the world's fastest-growing AI businesses to appoint an Engagement Lead who will play a pivotal role in launching next-generation accounting technology with enterprise customers. This is far more than an implementation role. You'll combine finance transformation expertise, customer consulting and technology deployment to help some of the world's leading organisations modernise their finance operations using AI-powered software. Working directly with CFOs and finance teams, you'll lead complex customer engagements from discovery through implementation, becoming a trusted advisor while helping shape the future of an innovative product. The Opportunity As one of the early members of this rapidly growing team, you'll: Lead end-to-end customer implementations of AI-powered accounting and ERP solutions. Work directly with finance leaders to understand business processes and design scalable solutions. Configure accounting workflows including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations and payment processes. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence product development based on customer feedback. Own both pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements. Help build implementation playbooks and best practices as the platform scales. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, technology and customer success. You’ll likely bring: Experience delivering ERP implementations or finance transformation programmes. A background within a Big Four consulting firm, ERP vendor or high-growth accounting software business. Strong knowledge of accounting operations including month-end close, GL, AP/AR and reconciliations. Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging with CFOs, Controllers and Finance Directors. A commercial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. An accounting or finance degree, with CPA qualifications advantageous.
