Job Description
The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in driving the financial performance and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facilities and supports our production sectors through detailed financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis. This position requires proficiency in inventory management and accounting software, Excel, and proprietary tools to deliver accurate financial data analysis and insights. The role involves interaction with cross functional internal teams to support effective cost management and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Accounting and Operational Analysis
- Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Business partnering and Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support manufacturing operations
- Conduct budget analysis and forecasting for production activities
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Manage cash flow and support audit processes
- Analyze manufacturing costs and contribute to cost management strategies
- Utilize Sage 50, Excel, and proprietary software for financial data management
- Collaborate with multiple departments to provide financial insights and support
Preferred Qualifications
- BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related quantitative field
- 2-5 years of experience as a financial analyst, cost analyst, or plant accountant ideally in manufacturing
- Strong skills in financial modeling, Excel, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellant Analytical thinker
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Experience with data analysis in a manufacturing environment
