Accounting Supervisor

Accounting Supervisor A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting activities and support the company’s financial operations. Reporting directly to the Owner/CEO, this position will be a hands-on accounting role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while supporting month-end close and working closely with the team responsible for orders and shipping processes. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll Maintain accurate and timely financial records and transactions Support the month-end/EOM close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Assist with cash management, account reconciliations, and general accounting analysis Process customer invoices, payments, vendor invoices, and related documentation Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness Work closely with the Owner/CEO on accounting, financial, and administrative matters Partner with the employee responsible for orders and shipping documentation/processes to ensure accurate flow of information between operations and accounting Help maintain proper documentation and internal accounting processes Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, reporting, and overall efficiency Provide general accounting support and reporting as needed Qualifications 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Previous experience with Odyssey ERP is highly beneficial Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting software #J-18808-Ljbffr
