In this role, your days will be filled with dynamic patient interactions. You will conduct evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments, curating personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. With a focus on mobility, strength, balance, and function, you will administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions. You'll collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation experts to optimize outcomes. An essential part of your work will involve educating patients and their loved ones about the objectives of the therapy, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens. Meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with regulatory standards will be a pivotal part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution, along with a valid state license as a Physical Therapist. While a CPR certification and specialized credentials in areas like geriatrics or neurology are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Your previous experience will be highly valued as we seek someone adept at handling complex medical and mobility issues, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
