Tranquil Haven Counseling is seeking dedicated and skilled Mental Health Counselors to join our team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing counselors to provide clinical support and therapeutic interventions from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to gauge each client’s mental health status, utilizing evidence-based evaluations to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide timely individual counseling and crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring responsive support during critical moments.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops, focusing on critical topics that promote healing and personal development among clients.
• Collaborate across various departments at the detox center, such as the medical staff and community organizations, to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to client care.
• Actively participate in outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health and reducing stigma, including public wellness events and educational campaigns.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing digital systems to enhance efficiency and security.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling center primarily serves individuals in recovery and those experiencing mental health challenges associated with substance use disorders. Counselors will work with a diverse patient population, including adults facing crises, those in outpatient detox treatment, and individuals striving for personal growth and recovery. Qualifications

• Must possess an active state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in addressing the specific mental health needs of individuals in a healthcare or counseling setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief treatment models suitable for a remote counseling environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare or counseling setting is required.
• Experience in group therapy facilitation and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
