We firmly believe that words and actions matter, which is why all individuals are to be treated equally and with respect.This position offers the ability to work in either Retail gift shops, Rentals, Food & Beverage locations or a scheduled combination of all the above.This position is responsible for a wide variety of revenue-generating functions, from greeting guests, helping ticket and stock merchandise, assisting guests with purchases by providing product information, conducting Point of Sale transactions, taking and preparing food and beverage orders, and delighting the customer with exceptional experience.We are currently looking for a:Story Land - Food & Beverage Sales Associate (Seasonal)Roles & Responsibilities:Role & Responsibilities:Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!Smile and communicate with coworkers and guestsAssist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions regarding retail or food productsMaintain a general knowledge of the items to assist guests with questions regarding productsSuggestive sell items to guestsRestock merchandise as neededConduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.Take food and beverage ordersPrepare and serve food orders, while following all procedures and safety guidelinesReplenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.Maintain cleanliness within all assigned work areasMonitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if neededAll other duties as assigned by leadershipEducation and Experience:No education requirements for this rolePrevious work experience is not requiredLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Requirements:Must be at least 1 4 years of age to comply with New Hampshire Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulationsMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfactionAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipmentAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreWorking Conditions:This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park , with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environmentsFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environmentsWorking at Story Land is about making people happy!
