Senior Community Caregiver - Client-to-Client Shifts | Palatine, IL

Open Arms Solutions is seeking experienced and dependable Caregivers to provide compassionate care to seniors in Wheeling, IL. This position is ideal for a caregiver who enjoys working with multiple clients and providing care to different residents throughout their shift within a senior community. Position Highlights Client-to-client caregiving shifts within the senior community Assist multiple senior clients throughout your scheduled shift Flexible scheduling opportunities based on availability Variety of client care needs and assignments Competitive pay based on experience and assignment Ongoing support from our Care Coordination and Recruitment teams Responsibilities Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to senior clients Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Assist with transfers, ambulation, and safe positioning as needed Provide companionship and meaningful engagement Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client care Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan Follow each client's individualized care plan and company policies Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate care team Maintain clear and timely communication regarding client care Move between client assignments within the senior community as scheduled Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, senior communities, CNA/HHA, DSP, or similar settings Reliable transportation Ability to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needs Dependable, compassionate, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Authorized to work in the United States Ideal Candidate We are looking for caregivers who are dependable, flexible, and comfortable providing care to multiple senior clients throughout their shift.
