We're looking for the right person to take the helm of our kitchen and help us continue growing Wings & Things!
This isn't just another cook position. We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the kitchen, connect with our customers, help grow sales, and grow with the business.
The Schedule:
Friday–Monday
At least 36 hours per week
4 days on / 3 days off
You'll initially be running the kitchen independently, so we're looking for someone who is:
Clean, organized & food-safety focused
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
High-energy with a positive attitude
Friendly and customer-oriented
Experienced in a kitchen/food-service environment
Currently or previously ServSafe certified
Interested in helping promote Wings & Things on Facebook and other channels
Excited about finding ways to grow sales and build the business
There's another side to us, too!
Wings & Things operates alongside our game and hobby shop. You don't need to know Magic, Pokémon, Warhammer, video games or tabletop gaming—but being familiar with them is a plus, and being willing to learn is important.
A lot of our gaming customers are regulars, and we want someone who can get to know them, engage with them, and become part of the community.
We're looking for more than someone who just wants to punch a clock.
We want someone who can eventually look at Wings & Things and say:
“This is my kitchen. These are my customers. I want this place to succeed.”
