Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Celebration, FL 34747
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday (In-Office), Friday (Remote) 8am to 5pm daily
Pay Rate: $56.25 - $62.50 per hour based off experience level

(6 month contract, with possible extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Financial Systems & Process Analyst to support finance operations and system transformation initiatives. This role will play a key part in defining system requirements, executing testing, and ensuring accuracy across financial systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor in finance-related system projects, including:
  
  • Defining system and reporting requirements
    
  • Performing system testing (user acceptance, financial integration, data migration, and reporting)
    
• Ensure accuracy of financial processes, data calculations, and accounting transactions flowing into the general ledger
  
• Oversee daily financial management activities, including:
  
  • Exception review and resolution of system issues
    
  • Account reconciliations
    
  • Monthly journal entries
    
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation solutions
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across financial processes
  
• Investigate and resolve issues by understanding both manual and system workflows
  
• Act as a point of contact for day-to-day team operations
  
• Support decision-making by preparing and presenting financial and operational insights
  

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of Finance or Accounting experience
  
• Strong experience with account reconciliations using tools such as Excel
  
• Ability to document detailed system and reporting requirements
  
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  
• Experience with system testing methodologies
  
• Proficiency with tools supporting process improvement (e.g., Smartsheet, Alteryx)
  
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on process improvement
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting system implementation or transformation projects
  
• Familiarity with financial systems and automation tools
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
  

Pay Details: $56.00 to $62.00 per hour
