Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen preparation at its Akron Patient Service Center. The position involves venipuncture, data entry, patient interaction, and occasional travel to additional sites, with a Monday-Friday schedule plus rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and travel to additional collection sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: $17.75 - $25.92 per hour
