#2 CGP: Cash Reconciliation Specialist

Our Client is currently offering a contract position as a Cash Reconciliation Analyst. This role is entirely onsite and is part of an expansion strategy with the potential for permanent employment after the contract period, which lasts until November 2024.

Key Functions:

• Responsible for daily oversight and adjustment of financial transactions across a network of over a thousand dental practices, with a focus on sorting reconciliations by the nature of payment.
• Monthly alignment of bank statements with internal financial and patient care systems.
• Formulation and application of adjusting journal entries for various financial activities including fee adjustments, refunds, and transaction reversals.
• Collaborative engagement with Managements and Staff to address and rectify disparities.
• Liaise with different departments to confirm the precision of financial postings in patient accounts.
• Proactively identify and propose improvements to the reconciliation process and other operational procedures to boost efficiency and reduce error margins and research times.
• Develop and deliver diverse monthly financial reports for executive analysis and review.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional experience ranging from 1-3 years in the areas of cash handling, banking operations, and accounting practices.
• A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field of study, or similar professional experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a broad understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal abilities coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, process-oriented, capable of resolving complex issues, self-driven, proactive, ambitious, with a strong focus on customer service.

Compensation: $23-26 per hour.
