Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
12-hour shifts; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and/or 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM; availability for either shift required.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48

Requirements
- 2 years current Emergency Department experience
- Massachusetts RN License
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Active American Heart Association PALS certification
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion
- Experience with Meditech Expanse (strongly preferred)
- Must have own vehicle

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals within the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient needs and devise individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.

Compliance / Notes
- Personal scrubs of any color required.
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission; no more than 5 days will be accepted.
