Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks multiple associates to join its Emerging Growth and Venture Capital group in Austin, TX. The associates will focus on working with emerging growth companies and institutional investors. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in venture capital financings, M&A transactions, and advising on corporate matters. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transactions. Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts. Manage complex transactions from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues to develop transaction strategies. Participate in legal activities such as hearings and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development opportunities. Contribute to firm programs and community involvement. Requirements 2+ years of experience in Emerging Growth/Venture Capital. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and good judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of Texas. Skills Excellent organizational skills. Persuasive communication and management skills.
