Field Turbine OperatorLocation: Midland, TX Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $38/hr plus or minus Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0 hours per week Security Clearance: Not specifiedResponsibilitiesEnsure the safe, efficient, and continuous operations of gas turbine packages and related equipment.Monitor control panels, gauges, and other instruments to ensure optimal turbine performance and operational parameters.Communicate and coordinate with the Remote Operations Center for fault-finding support and troubleshooting.Evaluate the operational readiness of equipment after shut-down events and assist with the evaluation of readiness of gas turbines and related equipment.Maintain good housekeeping practices in power generation operational areas.Ensure safe working conditions and operations by adhering to company standards and policies, conducting work in accordance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and workplace policies.Maintain daily verification of operational log completion and maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities.Lead troubleshooting efforts on equipment and interfaces.Understand and apply available software for operational efficiency.Aid in the development and implementation of power generation efficiencies.Assist with the installation and commissioning of power generation assets and related equipment.Perform external visual checks of equipment, including walk-around inspections.Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of gas turbine operations or electrical experienceExperience with Solar SMT turbine packages preferredAble to read electrical and control drawingsClear verbal and written communication skillsAble to safely operate and maintain assigned equipment during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidaysAble to perform duties safely in all weather conditionsMust be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines, which may include emergency response situationsMust be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shiftMust be physically able to occasionally lift or move up to 80 poundsResponsive, action orientedSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
