We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate to support timekeeping operations for a retail organization in Chesapeake, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large data sets, resolving questions from internal stakeholders, and ensuring accurate reporting. The person in this role will help maintain timekeeping information, respond to inquiries from stores and field leadership, and contribute to consistent workforce data processes.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming timekeeping and timesheet inquiries from stores, field leaders, and other internal teams with accurate and timely guidance.

• Review, organize, and maintain workforce-related reports by extracting and validating information from workforce management systems and Excel-based files.

• Analyze high-volume data to identify discrepancies, support corrections, and improve the accuracy of timekeeping records.

• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and related reporting tools to support workforce planning activities.

• Monitor information across parallel systems and compare outputs to help confirm data consistency and reporting accuracy.

• Assist in training team members on common timekeeping questions, reporting practices, and established support procedures.

• Use reporting platforms such as Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools to summarize trends and present workforce data in a usable format.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve reporting issues and support day-to-day workforce management operations.

• At least 2 years of experience in data entry, timekeeping support, accounting support, or a related administrative function.

• Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to work accurately across large volumes of data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and report preparation.

• Experience handling timekeeping records, timesheet review, or workforce-related data is preferred.

• Ability to investigate issues, interpret data, and provide clear responses to internal stakeholders.

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or developer-supported reporting environments is beneficial.
