ER Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 Hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required: 6 weekends per 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing patient care during emergencies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Provide emergency care to patients experiencing various medical conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and manage critical care situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in treatment planning.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Must hold current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Active RN license in the state required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred.
