Traveling Construction General Laborer

Pay: $20–$25/hr

⏰ Hours: 60 hours per week

Join a skilled construction crew repairing and maintaining utility poles, sports lighting systems, and telecom towers across the U.S.

What You'll Do

✅ Travel nationwide for projects (typically 5–6 weeks on, 1 week off)

✅ Repair and maintain utility poles, light poles, and telecom towers

✅ Perform concrete work, including forming, setting, and repairs

✅ Conduct inspections and document findings

✅ Use power tools and hand tools safely

✅ Assist with repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting

✅ Work at heights using proper safety equipment

✅ Complete basic reports and inspection records

✅ Follow safety and quality standards

✅ Work closely with your crew to complete projects on time

✅ What We're Looking For

✔ Construction, concrete, utility, or outdoor labor experience

✔ Willingness to travel extensively

✔ Comfortable working at heights

✔ Experience with structural repairs or inspections is a plus

✔ Ability to use power tools and hand tools

✔ Strong work ethic and safety mindset

✔ Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
