Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Part-Time Opportunity

Job Summary:

Alight Behavioral Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our part-time team in Ellerbe, North Carolina. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder in their natural environments, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness

• Collaborate with BCBAs to modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress

• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care

• Adhere to Alight Behavioral Therapy's policies, procedures, and standards of practice

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education)

• Completion of the required RBT training program and registration with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for working with children and families affected by autism
