Growing together.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform pediatric and adult venipunctures, finger sticks, heel sticks, and other collection services as ordered by the providerPerform CLIA waived testing (i.e. urine dip, pregnancy tests, finger stick blood glucose levels, fecal occult blood tests, rapid influenza tests, finger stick PT/INR, monospots, sed rates, rapid streps) as described in the laboratory procedure manual with minimal/no supervisionMaintain accurate laboratory records and make available for inspections /audits by Lab Supervisor, Lab Director, Lab Consultant and CLIA SurveyorsPerform necessary quality controls; participate in proficiency testing program as required, Maintain lab instruments as indicated by manufacturer recommendations and will follow all safety guidelines in effectYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited school2+ years of experience if completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program OR 3+ years of directly related experience as a phlebotomist in a patient service center, clinic, or hospital setting with one year of waived testing and specimen processing experience in clinical settingAbility to obtain BLS through American Heart Association within 30 days of employmentAbility to complete the KSC review/skill validation program within 90 days of hireAbility to use related equipmentExperience with computers and Windows-based softwareAbility to practice good customer service principles and practicesAbility to speak, write and understand EnglishDriver's License and access to reliable transportationPreferred QualificationsCertified Phlebotomist and Certified/Registered Medical AssistantMember of an accredited phlebotomy National OrganizationAbility to use Microsoft software applications including Word and ExcelProven knowledge of electronic medical record systemsEPIC experienceBi-lingualPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
