Technical Product Manager

Job Description

A large media client is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join the team in the Tri-State area. This person will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders, sales teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and product deliverables. They will help drive AI-focused initiatives across the ad sales organization, including the development and enhancement of tools such as account summary agents, RFP automation agents, and pitch-to-pay workflow solutions. On a daily basis, this individual will manage product backlogs, write epics and user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work within an Agile/Scrum environment. They will work closely with technical teams to support the full product development lifecycle, ensure alignment between business objectives and engineering execution, and track progress through Jira. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with emerging AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot, while also collaborating with sales stakeholders to understand how business is tracked, managed, and optimized within Salesforce and other sales platforms. This is a highly collaborative and visible role that requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to take ownership of initiatives from concept through delivery.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related role

• Experience building or supporting AI/GenAI products, tools, or initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar technical field

• Experience partnering closely with Engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical requirements

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)

• Experience writing and managing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs

• Experience using Jira for sprint planning, backlog management, and tracking deliverables

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across both business and technical stakeholders

• Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to drive projects forward independently • Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI platforms

• Experience developing AI agents, workflow automation, or intelligent assistant solutions

• Salesforce experience, particularly supporting sales organizations or revenue-generating teams

• Knowledge of advertising, media, ad sales, or revenue operations workflows

• Experience supporting end-to-end sales processes such as account planning, RFP management, proposal generation, and pitch-to-pay workflows

• Familiarity with sales analytics, customer engagement processes, and how sales teams track business activity and meetings
