What You'll Do as a Welder: As a Welder, you will use welding equipment to join metal components and fabricate finished products according to customer drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include: Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Perform welding preparation and assemble parts prior to welding Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions Align and secure parts using straightedges, squares, calipers, and rulers Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy Operate welding equipment such as MIG, Stick, and TIG (TIG preferred) Use hand and power tools common to the welding trade Complete inspection documentation as required Perform basic welding equipment maintenance as needed Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Skills and Experience 35 years of welding experience Current welding certification (ASME certification preferred) TIG welding experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Strong attention to detail and quality standards Knowledge of wire/filler materials for steel, aluminum, and other alloys Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods We don't hire temps, we hire TEAMMATES!
